Gull diving
We were at Normandy Park Cove this weekend. This gull repeatedly swam around, launched itself a foot or two into the air, and dove for dinner. After watching six or eight tries, we had to leave and I do not know if it ever was successful. It was beautiful and inspiring to watch. The crow seemed to be quite interested also.

I love the water. Thanks for being watery and not wordless.
That is a nice action photo
I wish I can be a sea gull so I can dive whenever I want without inhibitions
I played as well -> http://www.reejane.com
It’s a great capture show the action so accurately, Happy WW
Beautiful scene, and right in the middle of Seattle I imagine. Was up there last week and it mostly just rained.
Lovely — it seems to be a bird-themed Wednesday.
What a peaceful image!
I really like this shot. You know, I almost missed this post. I had to go looking for it. Glad I found it.
Sorry to anyone who was confused by my incorrect link. The computer “remembers” the link and now it has started remembering a different meme’s link! I’ll have to be much more careful when I enter.
Thanks everyone for visiting and leaving a comment. Much appreciated, believe me!
