And did you grow that scallion from the cut off bit of another scallion? The colors in this phot are lovely. Very soothing now in the time of rain.

It’s a beautiful bud. I don’t think I have ever tried growing htem. I’ll have to do that.

Thanks for your comments. This blosson was taken in July and the blooms are long over. The outer shell wrap goes away and it becomes a bit rounder, but really, doesn’t do too much more as a flower. Like many things (or not!), the youthful aspect is perhaps the most attractive.
