Poppy macro
A close look at a poppy flower that was blooming in my neighborhood about three weeks ago. The blossom was quite large, maybe 4 or 5 inches across. After this kind of poppy fades, the seed pods are quite interesting, too.

That is very cool. I took the same shot of pink poppies a couple of weeks ago and posted them …. it’s interesting that the colours are the same in both the orange and pink ….
