A snowy shadow for Sunday
The other morning there was a surprise inch of snow on the ground. Soon the sun came out and it was gone, but before it did, I caught this shadow underneath the big old cedar tree out back.

Love seeing the green grass peeking throught the melting snow. That must be quite some tree you have! It casts a gand shadow. Your snow should be easing off soon with the arrival of spring!
Oh you asked about the TtV technique? I’ll find a link to a blogger that has a much better description than I could give. I just end up confusing people when I attempt to explain things
When I’ve found the link I’ll email it to you
Thanks for your complimentary comment, Sarah! We’re expecting LOTS of snow here tonight – 6-10 inches! Ugh!
What a crispy shadow shot! Amazing that the snow can give us such a nice art.
Have a nice Sunday!
What a beautiful shadow you caught..Very soft looking..
Happy SSS..
Looks like the view right out my front door! Great shadow!
I like the very subtle shadows. The green of the grass can almost be the leaves on the tree when you “read” it from bottom to top.
Love your shadow shot (as usual)!
Paz
Great pattern…looks like a dusting of icing sugar…
